This is a Google bug related to having multiple Google accounts signed in on your mobile device. Here's how to work around it:
Android
Start a new Incognito tab: tap the three dots in the upper-right corner, choose “New incognito tab,” then navigate back to this page (or rescan the QR code).
iPhone
Start a new Private Tab: tap the three dots in the lower-right corner, choose “New Private Tab,” then navigate back to this page (or rescan the QR code).
